INDIA 2.024

This project summarizes my journey, an unstructured, open-minded journey through different cities in India. It doesn't seek to explain, but rather to slow down the pace for a moment and face what remains.

This project was carried out in different cities in India, with an open mind towards the unexpected.

Through portraits, places of worship, celebrations, and urban spaces, I attempt to create a fragmented but faithful image of a culture where the sacred and the everyday coexist in every corner.

A journey through four dimensions that address the complexity, spirituality, and expressiveness of life in India. .

1. FACES

Faces in India speak without words.

This series of portraits captures the human diversity of India. In these images, I look for what doesn't shout: a soft expression, a sustained gaze, faces marked by time, a shared moment.

2. SPIRITUALITY

Spirituality in India is not abstract.

A visual exploration of the many forms of spirituality in India. It includes Hindu rituals, Muslim prayers, pilgrimages, and scenes of shared devotion. It focuses on the essential elements: fire, water, air, earth, and space, depicting how faith is embodied in the material and the invisible.

3. HOLI

Holi is a pause in time.

A day when color invades everything, bodies become equal, and joy becomes a ritual. It presents itself as a visual explosion of emotion, chaos, and

festive spirituality.

Photographing Holi is about entering the party, letting the camera get wet, letting the pigment speak.

4. CITY

Cities in India are beating.

They are living bodies, where everything happens at once. This section features urban scenes where chaos and harmony intertwine: streets, traffic, open temples, and silences amidst the noise.
