BHUTAN

Bhutan, also known as the “Dragon Kingdom”, is a tiny, yet legendary kingdom located at the eastern edge of the Himalayas.

I travelled to Bhutan in the spring of 2024, drawn by its legend. There I breathed in its omnipresent spirituality; I climbed steep slopes to its most sacred temples; I was rocked by surprise by the hypnotic hum of the prayers of its Buddhist monks, I listened to its crystal-clear rivers and, above all, I felt welcomed with simplicity and sincerity by a friendly, joyful people full of vital wisdom.

I have divided this work into five chapters, each of them seeking to reflect an aspect of what I found there.

I will not forget Bhutan.
